Acres formed in early 2013 after meeting whilst performing individually within the local open mic scene, Kate requiring a "guitar bitch" and Jamie just in desperate need of someone to make him look less offensive to those of a sensitive disposition.
Blending Jamie's background in punk rock bands and husky vocals with Kate's love of the slightly unusual and her soulful tones, the two quickly found 'their' sound through collaborating on versions of their favourite songs.
The pair are currently performing in their hometown of Jersey whilst writing and recording.Categories: Musicians.
