With 20 years experience in the workshops of some of the UKs leading bespoke designer/makers . I'm a craftsman who creates uniquely functional and exceptional hand crafted jewellery boxes using a variety of both solid hardwood and veneers.
Although my background and experience lie in fine furniture making, the intricacies and meticulous nature of making small exquisite boxes has always fascinated me. Incorporating a number of influences and inspiration, a love of geometry and mechanical mechanisms are key to my work. The knowledge, techniques and skills acquired and mastered throughout my career are all utilised and applied whist making my designs.
