About
Ashiki means passion in Swahili and we are certainly passionate about the music. We perform infectious get up and dance rhythms and play a huge variety of instruments from djembes, balafones, congas, douns-douns, flute and much more. We are a multicultural band with members from South Africa, Germany, Poland and Holland as well as a local crew too. You will usually find us performing in Howard Davis Park in the long summer evenings.
