Launched in 1959, the Beaulieu PTA represents our 700+ students in the Primary and Secondary Departments and is made up of parents, past parents and staff.
The PTA aims to enrich the quality of our children's educational experience by raising money for the school through a variety of fundraising events. The PTA helps you to get involved, meet new people, have fun and raise money for the school.
The majority of our funds are raised through events such as:
Summer Fete
Christmas Bazaar
Primary School Discos
Primary School Walk
Cake sales
Raffles
A variety of other events such as Bingo, Quiz Nights etc.
We also run a second hand uniform shop. Please contact Karen OBrien for details.
Beaulieu Crafts Club
Open to all Beaulieu parents - now meeting Tuesdays from 1.30 in the Sunday school room at St. Mary and St Peter's Church. All levels of crafters welcome. Pick-up box system in operation for varying levels of skills. Please see PTA Crafts Bin in playground for donations needed, particularly old dresses and skirts. We will also be working with the primary school children in the classrooms to produce crafts which will then be sold at the main events. The Crafts Club is a great fundraiser for our PTA so please do come and support us at the next Bazaar or Fete.
We have set no budget this year and aim to be as eco-friendly as we can, using recyclable, sustainable materials. We would love donations of buttons, old uniform fabrics, fabric, ribbons, crafting material, wool, cash donations etc etc. Please contact Clodagh Spillane for details.Categories: Charities, Clubs & Associations, Schools.
