Bedell Creative Arts Programme

The Bedell Creative Arts Programme is a year-long initiative that supports local creative artists in the development of their own craft and encourages people to collaborate with artists of different genres to produce exciting new work.
The Programme will be split between two stages: ‘development’ and ‘production’ where the Artists will work with professional mentors on both their own craft and then collectively to create shared pieces of work. These will then be showcased at the ‘Original Works Concert’ on 30th August, 2015 at the Jersey Opera House.
Who is the Programme for?
The Bedell Creative Arts Programme is open to Artists of all practices – composers, song-writers, filmmakers, multi-media artists, dancers, choreographers, performance artists, writers, designers, directors, visual artists – who make their own work. Applicants should have a firm grasp of their own craft and be interested in working with others on shared projects that utilise each person’s skillset.
The key aim of the project is to enable creative artists to collectively make larger pieces of work that they wouldn’t ordinarily be able to make on their own. These may be conventional or experimental and the process will enable participants to thrive in their own art form.
It is open to anyone over the age of 16 and will consider people at all levels of experience (from self-taught to fully trained; from emerging to fully professional).Categories: Artist, Musicians, Video Filming, Video Production / Filmmaker, Writer/Author.
