After moving to Jersey and freelancing as a dance teacher, Liz Robinson opened her school in 1987.
Over the years the school has grown in size and now has over 100 pupils, with classes for children aged 2 and a half all the way up to our adults classes. With 4 dance locations around the island, Central School of Dance offers opportunities for everyone to learn to dance.
OUR AIMS ARE:
â–ª to provide a safe and friendly environment for pupils and students to learn all forms of dance.
â–ª to provide quality and up-to-date teaching by professionals within the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD).
â–ª to encourage a love of dance for pupils and students with graded and vocational exams.
â–ª to give all pupils and students the opportunity to gain valuable performance experience through participation in school and local shows.
â–ª to give pupils and students the opportunity to perform in public and gain theatrical experience.
