Welcome to my website, the HQ of Advanced Sports Massage here in Jersey.
A common misconception is that sports massage is only for people who indulge in sports! That is not the case at all. As many of my clients can attest, sports massage is for muscular dysfunction, be it through being sat at your desk for 7 hours a day or competing at any level in sport.
Sports Massage relieves tension, encourages proper muscular function and in essence gets the body moving well again.
I have trained as a Remedial and Advanced Remedial Massage Therapist at St Martins College, Cork.
It is validated by external examiners and accredited by UK and internationally recognised bodies such as ITEC and FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists).
Not only have I gained a proficiency in the use of massage as a therapy, but to coincide with this, the use of electrotherapy such as ultra-sound and faradics, having gained a first class honours in both year 1 and 2 in all areas of the course.
Having completed in excess of 80 clinic hours in both a clinic environment as well as a sports club under the experienced and guiding hand of the senior physiotherapist of the Jersey 1sts Rugby team for the last 2 seasons, each and every client is guaranteed to receive the highest level of professionalism and care.Categories: Massage Treatment, Sports Injury Therapy.
