Croydon born - Jersey raised ‘Electrik Cat’ (Jon Peacock) // House / Tech House music, beginning his DJ journey back in 2001.
Since then, Jon has been building his profile on and off the decks, with sets at Jerseys most popular clubs for some of the islands most talked about events.
He secured a residency at Pure Nightclub in 2009, which he’s held till early 2014 due to closure. He run one of the most talked about and established dance events in the Channel Islands called 'Mind Your Head' from Pure, which he only closed the curtains on in 2012, leaving the nights a huge success. He used these nights to bring out new talent every month by giving bedroom DJs a chance to play out. Jon Also set up DJ competitions, which he judged.
Peacocks played alongside all the top DJs in the Channel Islands and also played side by side with global artists such as ThreeSixty, Dirty Harris (Ic3 Cream), Hauswerks & Ant Brooks. Peacock was booked for Jersey Live 2011 playing alongside Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Toddla T - MC Serocee, Danny Byrd - Dynamite MC and most recently Eve Carey @ Leopard Valley / South Goa .
Outside of the DJ box he’s spending a lot of time in the studio producing his own material and is currently signed to Re:Sound & Segment Records and has had his material remixed by
K-Klass,
DAN.K & Shush
