    About
I have been painting for 30 years!

The one time when my teenage life seemed ‘too busy to bother’ and I put down my brush, I was fortunate enough to meet an artists sitting at his easel in the high street.

“Never give up something you love” he told me. I am grateful to Gerald Cains RWA for that advice: a brush, canvas, scrappy rag, messy oils, jar of white spirit and encrusted palette knife have been part of my life ever since.

I find the free shape of engrossed children particularly fascinating and my recent work, including commissions, has focused in that area.

I have exhibited in Bristol and Jersey and am a member of the Jersey Society of Artists.
