Field Farm sits comfortably on the scale somewhere between a smallholding and a small farm. This 10 acre site is situated on the lush pastures of St.Lawrence in Jersey. Born out of a passion for producing top quality local products from animals that have an enhanced quality of life, Jenni, the daughter of a Lincolnshire farmer and part-time Radiographer has lovingly converted what was once a large potato field into several paddocks, a timber farm and a home.
The animals are all reared on site and ‘Grown here not flown here’ is her motto. This year she joined ‘Genuine Jersey’ and also introduced some ‘Smallholding’ courses which were very successful.
Ollie, close friend and neighbour was also brought up on a farm. Presently a college student, he shares Jenni’s passion for top quality products and has been rearing prize winning exhibition pure breed poultry and waterfowl since the age of six. They decided to join forces and expertise and amalgamate their products into one website.
Travelling north from St.Aubin to St.John go up Mont Felard hill and continue for a few miles, past St.Lawrence Church and Carrefour Selous. Just before the big double bend take the lane on the left ‘Rue de la Golarde’ (signposted for Garden Scene Nursery).
