Fun4Dogs started in 2007 and is the first and only training school of its kind in Jersey. It offers Pet Dog owners a non competitive, modern reward based training technique and their dogs are taught everyday exercise and socialisation skills in a friendly environment.
It is perfect for family dogs, my technique is specifically designed to be used as a life style to make every day activities a pleasure. Your dog can walk nicely on the lead, let guests in through the door, come when called and do all these things because he wants to not because he is forced to.
I encourage responsible ownership
and well rounded happy dogs.
I live on the Island of Jersey, in the Parish St Peter with my husband Mark, our two sons Finlay and Fergus and the new member of our family Betty my re-homed Labradoodle.
I have been working with dogs for over 15 years, starting at kennels aged 13 where I developed an affinity with the “more difficult†dog. I found my own style of handling and befriending them which was unheard of at the time in the island, where “traditional training methods†were more commonplace.
Shaping and conditioning behaviour using reward based training is now widely recognised.
In the years that followed I dabbled in obedience, agility and show training, handling as many different breeds as I could get my hands on.
