The Holmchase Choir have become established as one of Jersey’s best loved adult ladies’ choirs, and as such are a regular and well-known part of the fabric of Jersey’s rich musical life. The choir was founded in 1958 by Amy Luce and was taken over by her daughter in 2008. It has since gone from strength to strength with 26 members currently with a 45 year age range. For the past two years the choir have held a highly successful annual concert in its regular rehearsal venue, Georgetown Methodist Church, to thank its regular members, family and friends and also the Church for its on-going support. The Choir represented Jersey on the European stage by travelling to Rimini, Italy to participate in its prestigious International Choral Competition. The Choir were delighted to be awarded third place and a bronze medal in the Equal Voices class.Categories: Choir.
