Jersey ‘By Invitation Only’ (BIO) is a registered non-profit organisation which raises greatly needed funds for its two chosen charities: ‘Jersey Teenage Cancer Trust’ and ‘Jersey Hospice Care’.
One in three people will be affected by cancer at some stage of their life. Young or old the patients and their families deserve the best individual care. ‘Jersey Teenage Cancer Trust’ and ‘Jersey Hospice Care’ are trying to do just that and with no support from the states of Jersey they rely entirely on the generosity of people supporting them by donating to and fundraising for their cause.
The Jersey BIO ladies only luncheon takes place every second Saturday in March. Our last luncheon was held on the 8th March 2014 and we had another amazing year. With ticket and merchandise sales, our raffle and donations we raised an incredible £12,911.06 which will be divided between these two fantastic charities. Thank you to everyone who donated raffle prizes, money and their time, It all helped towards making the day a success!
The BIO luncheon is not only a great way for ladies to stay in touch by promising to meet just once a year and enjoy a lovely lunch, it’s also a means of raising much needed funds for a worthy cause.
