Jersey Rugby Football Club is affilliated to the Hampshire Rugby Football Union and has four senior sides:
The 1st XV plays in the Greene King IPA Championship having won promotion for the 2012/13 season;
Jersey Athletic was formed in summer 2013 and is an amateur side playing in the Zoo Sports Shield;
Jersey Rugby club's third side, the recently formed Jersey Buccaneers plays in the Jersey Rugby Association League against Guernsey 2nd XV and three other Jersey clubs (United Banks, Beeches Old Boys and Les Quennevais);
The over 35's veteran section known as The Wanderers play friendlies against the other Island sides and visiting Veteran teams.
There are Academy sides running from U7s to U17s; the U13s, U14s, U15s and U16s all play in the Sussex leagues for their respective age groups.
The JRFC Colts XV plays in the Hampshire league.
HOW TO FIND US
The JRFC clubhouse, Lord Jersey stand, pavilion and pitches are visible from the road on the opposite side to the Aero Club, a few minutes walk from the airport on the main road to St Peter's village.
Travelling from St Helier, there is a regular bus service to the airport from Liberation station that runs approximately every half hour (bus no 15). In addition, bus no 9 stops directly outside the club carpark (not on sundays) but is less frequent.Categories: Rugby.
