LGL’s fund services offering is focused on specialist fund management groups which interact with sophisticated, professional, expert and institutional investors with the strategy of holding higher value assets with a focus on investment holding rather than of trading. The asset classes on which LGL focuses include Real Estate, Debt, Private Equity and Growth Equity as well as other alternative investments.
LGL offers a true director-led service. LGL’s extensive practical industry experience of dealing with specialist investor groups, regulators, fund counterparties and advisors, enables us to engage at an early stage with fund promoters to provide input into the development of a new fund which we believe enables LGL to make a significant contribution.
We have experience across a wide variety of fund and management structures, investment corporate entities, partnerships, unit trusts, regulated funds, club/private structures, cell vehicles, co-investment structures and “carry†structures.
Our Manager of Managed Entities (“MOMEâ€) service offering assists start-up and existing fund managers to establish part of their business in Jersey. Our team has had hands-on experience of establishing and managing substantive global investment management operations. This experience enables LGL to assist in the development of a robust infrastructure for our fund management clients including risk management and fund distribution in Jersey.
Our services include:
Fund establishment covering formation of fund entities, management entities, co-investment and carried interest entities and project management of the fund launch including liaising with advisors, regulators, fund counterparties and investors
Provision of highly experienced directors
Corporate governance including provision of company secretary and ensuring that a high standard of record keeping and corporate governance is maintained
Infrastructure including compliance support services and dedicated staff to support investment management, risk management and fund distribution and marketing activities
Maintenance of accounting records including NAV production and preparation of financial statements
Dealing with all tax and regulatory reporting
Maintenance of investor records including dealing with all investor documentation
