What is the MASH? - MASH or the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub is a team of dedicated professionals who work together to deal with safeguarding concerns regarding children and young people in Jersey. Based together, staff from the Children's Service, States of Jersey Police, Health and Education ensure that those who may be at risk of harm receive the best possible protection.
Effective & timely information sharing between agencies leads to improved services and better outcomes for children, young people and their families.
MASH offers a faster, more coordinated and consistent response to concerns as well as simpler access to guidance and support.
Discussing concerns much earlier gives the team a greater ability to identify potential vulnerability and enable preventative action.Categories: Childcare.
