My work revolves mainly around the human face as an object and concerns eye to brain interpretation and human interaction and perception. I graduated from Northbrook College Sussex with a upper second class honours degree in 2005 and later that year my series of abstract facial forms, Physiognomy, were chosen to be displayed alongside renowned artist Dan Baldwin in galleries in Brighton and Crawley. In 2006 in Jersey I was awarded the Sir Peter Crill award for an 'outstanding community arts project' for my work with blind and partially sighted people drawing the human face by touch alone. In 2011 the Arthouse Creative Collective was formed with myself and 5 other artists based in studios at St Helier harbour. Although primarily a painter I also work with photography, sculpture and installation along with decorative works such as murals, specialised paint effects, faux finishes and design for private and corporate clients.
