"I was educated at The Jersey College for Girls after which I gained a B.A. Hons degree in Fine Art from Bath Academy of Art. On my return to Jersey I worked in the design department of The Jersey Pottery for some years.
After marriage and children I began painting again, mostly in watercolour, concentrating in particular, on the Jersey cow. I have taken part in many exhibitions including three with my daughter Hannah in 2002, 2005 and 2010.
A commercial aspect to my work developed, by painting murals in hotels, restaurants, private homes and the airport where I was commissioned to paint two large murals of Jersey Cows. I have recently completed another mural in the new restaurant at the Moulin de Lecq Restaurant here in Jersey.
Another aspect of my work is in textiles, making bags and scarves with wonderful yarns sourced from Australia and Italy and making and dying my own felt.
I have recently set up a pottery studio at home as I love working in three dimensions and am developing a business making wall panels and sculptures in metal and ceramics for garden and home."Categories: Artist, Ceramics & Textiles, Sculptor.
