Sammi On Standby are pop punk band from Jersey, Channel Islands. They consist of 3 members a singer/guitarist, a bassist and a drummer. They started life as a 2 piece comprised of singer/guitarist Luke Piziura and drummer Abi Gallichan before adding first bassist Luke Hepburn and Lead guitarist Dan MacFarlane. Shortly before their victory at the 2013 Jersey Junior Battle of the Bands Hepburn left the band after a disagreement with the other members, leaving Piziura, Gallichan and MacFarlane to win the final as a 3 piece. Second Bassist Jamie Pallot joined shortly after and played with Sammi through their 2013 gigs. They record their Debut EP with this setup in September of 2013 but towards the tail end of of 2013 MacFarlane left the band after the found artistic differences with the others.Categories: Musicians.
