Stringbabies is an age appropriate way of teaching the violin, viola or cello to young children - from the age of three to around seven years old. It differs considerably from the Suzuki method and suits my teaching style more.
Stringbabies doesn’t just teach very young children to play the instrument - like the Wunderkeys programme I use for piano, it also helps the development of literacy and numeracy skills through patterning and symbol-sound association. It develops confidence, concentration and the ability to listen and follow instructions.
