The Little Big Band
About
We are the the Little Big Band, with a fun unique sound, influenced by King of Texan Blues - Delbert McCLinton, Cab Calloway, Otis Redding, Blues Brothers, Van Morrison, Ides of March Blood and Sweat and Tears. Steve McVay (Lead Singer) had a relatively successful 9 piece Band back in the North East of England gaining a credible following on the main music circuit. He moved to Jersey and pulled together musicians from time to time to raise money for a local Children's Charity. More recently, he has formed The Little Big Band with the aim of playing more regularly on the pub circuit in Jersey. It is a relatively new band, but early indications are that it is being well received, due to it's up-beat brand of music, with a big band sound furnished by a competent group of musicians which includes a 4 piece brass section.
