The Optimistic Voices trio formed in 2008 when three ladies were engaged to play the Optimistic Voices in the stage show The Wizard of Oz directed by the talented Nick Carver and performed at The Jersey Opera House.
Georgina Noel, Lucy Davies and Sharon Campbell - "0ur voices blended so well in the show, and we had so much fun, we simply had to take it further. So in memory and dedication to the name of the singers we played, and to Nick Carver who created this opportunity for us, our own unique Optimistic Voices trio was born.
In crispy December 2008 we were ready for our first acapella show at the Fete de Noue in The Royal Square. By Liberation Day 2009 and with a string of 40s numbers we were ready to entertain the champagne breakfast guests at The Jersey War Tunnels and the crowds at Liberation Square. When Lucy returned literally to Oz in 2009, obviously homesick and very much in love, the truly scrumptious Hannah Campbell stepped into her dainty red shiny shoes. They were a perfect fit!Categories: Musicians.
