The Paper Fig Restaurant offers a modern combination of French & British cuisine using fresh, seasonal and local produce. With authentic Breton influences, our dishes are distinctive, full of flavour and executed to the highest standard by Chef Denis Gouezel.
The restaurant is welcoming and has a relaxed ‘beach-side’ atmosphere with an alfresco dining area; perfect to while away the hours. Easy to find on Gorey Pier, we are right at the top of the slip; the only restaurant with uninterrupted views of the bay.
Paper Fig Shell
Scientific Name: Ficus Communis. Also known as the Common Fig and the Atlantic Fig. The Paper Fig shell is a delicate shell that is easily damaged. It is decorated with a fine criss-cross pattern. A rare version is bluish inside.
