he After Breast Cancer Support Group was founded in 1999 by ordinary women who have themselves experienced breast cancer.
As a result of their experiences, members of the Group are able to offer hope, support and friendship to women at any stage of breast cancer.
In order to promote their message of breast care awareness, the Group regularly organises fund raising activities - which are intended to raise funds for the Group itself, as well as raising its profile within the Island.
These activities include the locally organised "Think Pink Day" which has now become a regular feature of Jersey's support of the National Breast Cancer Awareness month in October.
The After Breast Cancer Support Group is a Jersey Registered Charity (No. 225) and as such is a non-profit making organisation.
Every penny raised stays in Jersey!Categories: Charities, Healthcare.
