Carole was an established solo guitarist in Jersey prior to forming the acclaimed Bossa Basseline Duo with Jules. Trained initially in classical and Spanish guitar, Carole’s first professional booking was a 1987 residency at the Stanneylands Hotel, Wilmslow, performing to the stars of Coronation Street & Manchester United Football Club.
Carole has also performed for the BBC, Ford Cars, Tony Hatch and worked as a session guitarist. Carole teaches both guitar and piano, and has taught guitar for both the Jersey Arts Centre and Highlands College. She has played alongside Alex Garnett (honorary member of Bossa Basseline) and Steve Rushton (drummer with Imelda May).Categories: Music Tuition.
