Convent Netball Club began many years ago with group of mothers whose children attended FCJ Primary School date in the early 1970’s.
Since those days Convent Netball Club has become one of the most successful local netball clubs who have won the Jersey Championship on numerous occasions over the past twenty years.
In 1999 we established a Youth Squad to play in the Jersey Netball Association’s Youth League. This league was created by Linda Andrews, Head Coach at Convent, with the aim of developing the sport amongst local girls aged 11-14.
The experience that is gained by the girls from participation in such a league encourages them to continue with their sport after leaving school and thus enables the standard of netball played by local senior clubs to improve.
The progression of the players is thanks to the dedication of the senior members of the Club who offer the girls excellent weekly training alongside developing and nurturing their social skills.
