Following 30 years as an artist specialising in oil and pastel paintings, mainly figurative and seascape representations 2013 saw David diversify into 3d work.
Having considered different mediums David chose Maltese limestone to work in due to its classical look, colour and texture. Following 10 months of exclusive limestone carving, July 2014 saw David further diversify into working with utile and iroko hardwood.
Although some of David's sculptures have started out more abstracted he is strongly influenced by his classic roots.
