The following vehicles are eligible for an eco-friendly parking permit:

any vehicle that has been certified as having a low exhaust emission that produces less than 100g of carbon dioxide per kilometre
a hybrid vehicle, first registered in Jersey before 1 July 2012, that uses an electric motor to assist a conventional engine, and has been certified as having a low exhaust emission that produces less than 120g of carbon dioxide per kilometre
a hybrid vehicle, first registered in Jersey from 1 July 2012 onwards, that uses an electric motor to assist a conventional engine, and has been certified as having a low exhaust emission that produces less than 100g of carbon dioxide per kilometre
Your local dealer will be able to tell you whether your car is eligible, or you can check your vehicle online.

Many manufacturers also indicate which band level of emissions their vehicles fall into. They use labels that are very similar to those found on electrical goods.

The permit itself is issued free of charge after filling out an application form from the Parking Control Office at Sand Street.

When you have your permit you will be able to purchase half-price paycards and season tickets. You can buy them from the Parking Control Office at Sand Street.
