Flutasia are an established and highly regarded Jersey Flute Choir who perform regularly at concerts and public functions. Recent performances include:

• The Jersey Boat Show
• The Variety Club Ladies’ Garden Party
• The Chapel at the Jersey General Hospital
• World Music Day, St. Helier
• Launch of the Liberation Festival
• National Trust Concert, New Street
• Recital, National Trust Concert, New Street

• The Great Charity Playathon in aid of ClicSargant(Jersey) and Tear Fund, Jersey Academy of Music, Chateau Vermont
Flutasia Members
The group consists of local students ranging in age from 13 to 18. Our principal flute won the Woodwind Heat of the Jersey Young Musician of the Year 2014. Three other members are members of the highly regarded National Children’s Wind Sinfonia of Great Britain and one of these girls also belongs to the National Children’s Orchestra. A trio from the group won the overall Instrumental Ensemble award at the Jersey Eisteddfod. The group began as a quartet but has recently added three new flautists. We have also expanded the repertoire of the group by purchasing “Bertha†our bass flute and “Audrey†our alto flute!Categories: Musicians.
