All players from age group Under 11 upwards are required to register with the JFA Player Registration Scheme before they are permitted to play football for any club affiliated to the JFA and/or Island Representative Teams. The Player Registration Scheme provides players with the required level of insurance cover to meet the requirements of the FA Standard Code of Rules to include a provision whereby it is mandatory for all players registered to open-aged Clubs to be members of a players’ personal accident scheme.
The Player Registration Scheme fees for 2014/15 will be:
Adults (Aged 18 to 35 years of age) £35
Adults (Over 35 years of age) £15
Juniors (Under 11 - Under 18 age groups) £15
Players who have not paid the Annual Registration Fee may be suspended by the JFA from playing football for clubs affiliated to the JFA and/or for Representative teams, at the sole discretion of the JFA. Such suspension will last until such time as the Annual Registration Fee is paid and clearance to play is authorised by the JFA or, until the end of the football season within which the payment would have applied.
