I am a life-caster and sculptor working primarily in cold-cast bronze, as well as foundry bronze, silver, mixed media and resin.
All my cold cast work is created on-island and all stages are undertaken in my studio in St Helier, from modelling through mould making and casting, to finishing and patination.
I am a proud Genuine Jersey member.
My background in jewellery design and manufacture (16 years) and Zoology combine to provide the technical skills and inspiration for my work.
In 2007, whilst working with the gorillas at Durrell, I started producing life-casts of many of the endangered species held at Durrell, for educational displays. Interest turned to obsession, and in 2011 I set up my life-casting business in a Jersey Arts Trust supported studio on the old French harbour, where I work mainly to commission producing fine-art quality bronze baby casts and limited edition sculptures.
My endangered animal lifecasts and dodo skull replicas can be purchased from the Durrell shop in Trinity.
