St Lawrence Football Club was established in 1919 by a group of young parishioners.
The most prominent member at this time was William (Bill) King, who established a firm foundation for the club which included a pitch at Three Oaks.
The club quickly established itself as a focal point for the Parish’s sporting community.
We celebrate the clubs forming with the Bill King trophy at the end of each season with the over 25 Vs the under 25 inter-club match.
Despite some ups and downs, we are now approaching our centenary in a relatively healthy position.
A new clubhouse was built in 1995 and we have very good facilities but hope to expand these with the club over the coming years.
Most recently we have seen the formation of the St Lawrence Football Academy, which we hope to build the future of the club.
A full list of the club achievements can be found on the club honours menu.
For more information on the club's history check out our facebook page that has details and images from the clubs history.
