Sue Lynn Wood lives with her spouse and their cherished pet, Ruffy, in Valdez, Alaska. She was born in Portland, Oregon, and grew up in Clark County, Washington. The pair moved to Valdez in 1999, drawn by their love of Alaska. Under the alias "Sue Lynn Wood," she pays tribute to three generations of ladies in her maternal family. She currently works for the local electric utility full-time as a proud member of IBEW 1547, and she plans to retire next year. Sue was inspired to share her poems in order to acknowledge her true self after going through some recent upheavals in her life. This anthology honors her path of self-discovery and artistic expression while also marking her debut as a writer, represented by the metaphor of the Phoenix Butterfly.Categories: Publisher.
